Hey Gamers, today, we at PSGamersNation
have quite the treat! Straight off the shelf, we are playing Tekken Tag
Tournament 2, the latest installment in the Tekken franchise. For those of you
unfamiliar with the 3D fighter, Tekken has been taking 3D gaming to the next
level since 1994. The game centers around the Mishima family and their version
of family values.
Since Tekken 1, where Heihachi through Kazuya off a cliff
and told him that he would need to climb his way out if he wanted to be part of
the family to now where Kazuya and Jin square off to see who possess the devil
gene better, Tekken has been known for its outrageous story lines, beautiful
graphics and advanced fighting engine. Tekken Tag 2 does not disappoint.
Over the years many of the Tekken characters have died,
disappeared or simply retired from the fighting scene. TTT2 brings back almost
every character from all of the 6 games that have graced TV and Arcade screens over the past
20 years. Don’t think you’ll be able to just jump in, Tekken has given the
characters new/improved move sets which may make it difficult if you have
skipped the past few releases, however, the move list is still similar so the
learning curve won’t keep classic gamers struggling to figure out what to do for too long.
The levels have been improved with better graphics and more
interaction such breakable walls. The frames have been increased so the
characters movements look more human. Although there are more than 40 players
to start, which makes it the most characters in any Tekken game ever, there are
still plans to make more characters downloadable so don’t fret if your favorite
isn’t there right off the bat, they could become available at a later date.
Lastly, the online mode is much better allowing characters to practice against
the computer while waiting for an opponent and rankings are still worldwide.
Where TTT2 could improve would be adding an actual
storyline/campaign mode for those users who like some adventure and making the
online play free.

2 will give gamers who enjoy fighters exactly what they want.
